Chuck Stern Ceramics
The goal of my work is to make artifacts that sit in the room like the interesting stranger you hope to meet at a party - fine looking, a colorful story-teller and a good listener. One who keeps you entertained with new ideas and interesting takes on old ones. It would be wonderful to make something that adds a bit of respite from the everyday internal conversation and leaves you feeling better after your encounter. But short of that, I would hope they would lend some sweetness to the ether. chucksternceramics.com
StoryPeople
Brian Andreas is an artist, sculptor and storyteller. He uses traditional media from fine art, theatre and storytelling to engage and move us with his collection of stories, drawings and sculptures. Storypeople are wood sculptures, three to four feet tall, in a roughly human form. Each piece uses only recycled barn and fence wood from old homesteads in northeast Iowa. Adding to their individual quirkiness are scraps of old barn tin and twists of wire. They are painted with bright colors and handstamped, a letter at a time, with original stories. The most striking aspect of StoryPeople are the shaded spirit faces that are softly blended into the wood surface, and make each StoryPerson come alive. Brian Andreas' work is shown and collected internationally. Click here to check out our latest line of StoryPeople books & prints & sculptures

Annieglass
An award-winning, handcrafted glassware made on California's central coast. Annieglass's trademark look and unique shape originates in a uniquely developed glass bending technique.A sheet of flat glass is melted over a ceramic mold and fired at such a high temperature (1350F) that precious metals become permanently fused to the glass. The result differs from traditional hand blowing not only in its special translucent textured finish but also in its remarkable durability: the glass becomes tarnish and chip resistant and dishwasher safe.

Tom White
My focus has always been on function; Pots that are a joy to use, pots that give the user both comfort and mystery, pots that are enjoyed like an old friend and yet bring new discoveries with daily use. One might find a certain area of the glaze previously undiscovered or a small finger print at the base of a handle. I often wonder where my pots will go and how they'll be used, and hope those using them will get as much enjoyment from them as I did on the day I made them. Tom lives in Northfield, MA
Abby Berkson
Abby received her BFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 2003.
